Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of RowdyAF at rowdyaf.tv (the "game"). By hosting a show, joining a room or using any part of the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

The game

RowdyAF is a party game played in person: a TV shows the stage and everyone in the room plays on their own phone. It's provided for entertainment, free of charge, as it is. Features, games and content may change or be removed at any time.

Family mode and After Dark

• Family mode is intended to be suitable for all ages. Children should play with an adult present.
• After Dark and Lifestyle modes are for adults 18 and over only. They include sexual themes, explicit language, risqué dares and drinking games. Hosts confirm that everyone playing is 18 or older, and players confirm their own age before joining. Don't run these modes with anyone under 18 in the room.

Alcohol

Some cards and rules mention drinking. You never have to drink: water or any other drink counts, and you can always pass. Only drink if you're of legal drinking age where you are, know your limits, and never drive after drinking. RowdyAF doesn't encourage excessive or irresponsible drinking.

Consent and respect

• Every dare, forfeit and card is optional. "No" is always a complete answer, and you can swap any dare for a pass.
• Anything that involves another person (touching, kissing, dancing, sitting together, sharing photos or messages) needs that person's clear yes, and in Lifestyle mode their partner's too.
• Don't use the game to pressure, embarrass or harass anyone, and stop immediately if someone isn't comfortable.
• Don't record or share photos, videos or messages of people without their permission.

Your behavior

Use a name that isn't offensive, and don't type anything hateful, threatening or illegal into the game. Don't try to disrupt rooms you weren't invited to, break the game, or access parts of it you aren't authorized to use. We may close rooms or block access to stop misuse.

Your safety is your responsibility

Some games involve moving, shaking your phone or physical tasks. Keep a firm grip on your phone, give yourself space, and skip anything you can't do safely. You and your host are responsible for what happens at your party, including your own decisions about dares, drinking and how you treat each other.

Music and videos

If a host adds a YouTube or Spotify link, that content is played through those services under their own terms. Hosts are responsible for the links they use. Song titles in the game are references only; RowdyAF isn't affiliated with any artist, label or TV show.

No warranty and limits on liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, go offline or lose a game in progress. To the fullest extent the law allows, RowdyAF and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or harm arising from playing, from dares or drinking, or from the conduct of anyone at your party.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
